Weather
All the weather on the coast is always exciting, not just the sunny skies. Sometimes the fresh rain and crisp fall air bring the most beautiful skies and sunsets of the year. Our KOA resort is well set up for enjoying a brisk walk in the open air and then relaxing in the hot tub. The full-hookup RV sites, covered kitchen, game room, and Kamping Kabins make all weather vacationing a pleasure.
If you have reservations for a stay or are planning a trip and you hear that it's raining, don't cancel your plans. Frequently weather forcasters in other parts of the state are wrong in their reports on the Mendocino Coast. More often than not we are experiencing normal winter weather and our roads are open and unaffected. We are only 1/4 mile off Highway 1 on a paved road.
You can check our current weather at our closest official weather station in Point Arena which is 5 miles South. You can also look at the weather cam and current weather in Mendocino Village which is about 30 miles North of our park.

You may be missing the most dramatic season on the Mendocino Coast and the favorite time of many of our visitors, proudly known as Storm Watchers. Even the storms which sometimes pass through our area bring an awesome beauty to this rugged and beautiful stretch of coastline. So come and enjoy the Mendocino Coast in all its winter splendor.
